Assessments made simple

Coming soon on the Oystar app — assessments. Teachers and owners of preschools will be able to conduct full learner assessments to track and report the progress of the learners. 

Assessments are foundational in a learner’s development and it’s critical that their conducted regularly using officially approved processes and tools to gather information about children, track their development and find their personal learning styles to understand development holistically.

Assessment also plays a vital role in identifying barriers to learning and development. Discovering these barriers earlier rather than later allows the educators an opportunity to intervene and take the appropriate measures to support the learner.

The Oystar app features a National Curriculum Framework (NCF) and Department of Basic Education (DBE) approved assessment tool that is easy to use. Once completed, reports may be sent direct from the app to parents and records are stored securely and confidentially.
